Jeanie was introduced to the recording industry, the late SYLVESTER and TWO TONS OF FUN by the late Harvey Fuqua. She became the third TON…singing backing vocals for Sylvester. Garnering her a spot on the Fantasy label as their next solo artist after the TONs. She recorded her first album for Fantasy Records. Placed number one on STAR SEARCH for six astounding weeks and was inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame in 2011. Jeanie has provided many backing vocals for producers Narada Michael Walden and Walter Affanasieff for some of the top vocalists in the country.

Performed vocals on the Wonderful World of Disney theme song, and gave the voice to Bantu the Snake and Kimmie the Cat in the PBS production, THE ADVENTURES OF KANGARODDY, produced by Football Hall of Famers, Ronnie Lott and Joe Montana. Provided vocals for many television commercials such as California Raisins, Acura, Mazda, and many more.
